I think I found the comfort I was looking for... I bought the Travelcade Gel seat from JC Whitney for $240.00, free shipping. Good thing I don't ride 2-up, because the rear seat
requires grinding and such to make it fit. I left it off. At first I wasn't crazy about the conches& studs, but they've grown on me and fit the "tribal" flame theme of my bike as I think about it.
I also "jacked up" the front from about 1 inch to 2 inches. It makes a positive difference. This seat is a good 2-3 hour comfort seat. Maybe even longer.I have an AirHawk small pillion seat
cushion which I plan on using for really long rides. |
